A group called the "Buranovo Grannies" will represent Russia in the Eurovision Song Contest, after winning a televised contest in Moscow.

The group, from Russia's Republic of Udmirtia, some 1,300km east of Moscow, have embarked on their hunt for musical glory after having failed to win approval to represent their country in two previous attempts.
They totally get the Eurovision thing. There is a "boom boom" chorus, and we are invited to come on and dance, in English.

If they could only sing, Js. should be really worried.

They sing in some language related to Finnish. I should be tearing my hair out but I have a shaven head so might just gnaw my nails instead! Have a listen to this, I love this tune...

Do they each have nicknames like, 'bunch of flowers' 'framed picture' or 'ammo-belt' on the end?

A tad unfair to label Madame No 5 as a tranny ... just bears somewhat of a resemblance to Tommy Cooper that's all
