Now i leave you with an amazing rendition (in English - Unoficial English Lyrics) of Salvador Sobral song by the 2009 Eurovision winner Alexander Rybak.

(this is how Rybak feels/understands the song)

Well, I'd like to thank Ireland for giving Portugal 15 points !! (15 wonderful points)

    Check the tally HEREhttp://eurovisionworld.com/?eurovision=2017

massive aXX kick Win ... 758 points !!! (both the Tele and Jury voted for Portugal)

Ah and then there's this, cos some people really really take the Eurovision seriously,

«Nick Harrington, who also sits as a magistrate, was clearly moved to anger after the Irish judges failed to vote for UK entry Lucie Jones.

In his ire, he tweeted: "#Eurovision2017 thanks Ireland. You can keep your ********** gypsies! Hard border coming folks!"»

Seems to me he was calling you guys gypsies in the South?

As I understand he was 'fired' or 'dismissed' today ....

(errmmmm .. some people really are sore losers, don't you think?)

Thank you Donal. It is a great song - going around the globe !

He has a very serious heart condition so he was to deliver his performance without 'exerting himself' too much
[this is for the folks out there wondering about his body language on stage]

(didn't know about the Euro nations trophy but will check it out)
