Have seen it on the shelves but never really bought it. What is peoples opinions on it? Reliable? Informative?

Yes, has stuff the papers don't, usually well informed and breaks plenty of bits and pieces over the year. Dennis O'Brian doesn't own it and they take full advantage of that. Today's is good, they reckon RTE (us) are looking at a record defamation, there will be no Finucane inquiry and another Micheal D profile

I leaked a Labour Party story to it last year, and it was handled fairly accurately. I would regard it as mostly reliable.

Is the magazine "Business Plus" ran and edited by the same crowd? Read the latest edition of it and the editor Nick Mulcahy had a pleasant editorial blasting the "entitlement class" and that "freebies for the entitlement class are back on the government's agenda"

Nick Mulcahy's father is Phoenix owner John Mulcahy. No connection apart from that as far as I know.

Thanks, I knew the name was familiar...

If the editorial agenda is as it seems I hope he doesn't take over Phoenix (which I enjoy) anytime soon

They really aren't holding back re Gaza. Fair play to Phoenix for telling it as it is.

Who is also closely related (I think he's his father too) to former Fianna Fail TD Michael Mulcahy.

RIP. One of the few Irish media proprietors who had a nationalist outlook (and I don't mean in the sense in which the modern Alt Right are associated with nationalism).
