Should be interesting. Rubbish line up apart from that though.

They should have included the other 2 survivng MPs for mid-Ulster, now that would have made for good TV.

    Bernadette Devlin and Willie McCrea.

(I'm being flexible with the word 'surviving')

Here he is, warning those who give information to the British police that they will be shot.....just before calling on people to give information to the British police.

Tribes and shoals disappeared as we polluted and devoured
With our greed and stupidity the homeland of the brave.

I don't care for him, but I'm hoping he wrote his poetry in Irish and that it just doesn't translate well!

Exactly. I don't know what sense to make of it. I'd consider that failure in poetry.
"It is we the workers who built these palaces and cities here in Spain and in America and everywhere. We, the workers, can build others to take their place. And better ones! We are not in the least afraid of ruins. We are going to inherit the earth; there is not the slightest doubt about that. The bourgeoisie might blast and ruin its own world before it leaves the stage of history. We carry a new world here, in our hearts."

    Wiki here.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_McGuinness

I was looking for Eamon Dunphy's RTE interview of 2009 with McGuinness, in which he said he was in independent contact with British intelligence from early on, if my memory serves me right. The links seem to be broken. If anyone has a link, I'd like to listen to it again.
