Kenny has revived FF today, by absolving them of the guarantee and bank recap decisions

Fleming, on VB, has set the next stage. Whetever deal, if any, FG get will not be good enough

Next GE will be fought on the above by FF.

Fine Gael have signed their election death warrant on that front. We had our foot on the throats of FF in the election and someone should have kicked the windpipe and ensured the party never got back into power. We now have the same vicious circle being perpetuated consistently, its amazing and the public forget very quickly how this situation we are in came about. Michael Martin has been quiet not saying much , FF are making a little noise in opposition but very little from what I can see or hear of....

The two-party democracy gives the illusion of choice while maintaining the same vested interests in power. Tweedledum needs Tweedledee and vice versa.

    Indeed

And the tax exiles who fund both parties are happy with the system as they win either way

Now the Blues lost no opportunity of opposing the
Buffs, and the Buffs lost no opportunity of opposing the Blues; and
the consequence was, that whenever the Buffs and Blues met together
at public meeting, town-hall, fair, or market, disputes and high words
    arose between them.

    FF/GAA/Auctioneer. What's not to like?

KERRY football hero Darragh O Se has been approached by Fianna Fail to contest the next general election in the new five-seat Kerry constituency.

Six-times All-Ireland winner O Se, who works as an auctioneer, is the latest high-profile figure to have been approached by the party.
    JOD is back

Former Ceann Chomhairle John O'Donoghue, who will be proposed as PRO of the new party organisation in the county today, has announced his intention to return to national politics.

Mr O'Donoghue is the agreed name to go forward for the role, though applications for more than 200 new party members who would have had a say were refused.

They don't get it, do they? O'Sé is a bigger eejit if he goes with it.

As for JOD, we need a Jester, a Fool, a man devoid of any self-awareness to entertain the unfortunate masses in their vale of tears. And by God, JOD fits the bill perfectly. A man designed to be laughed at derisively.

Forget about philosophy or expertise or any record of political thought or activities, let's get someone who used to kick football.

What does it say about us as voters that they would make a choice like that?
