The point is that you persist in implying Dublin is an area of bountiful services
The point is that services in Dublin are being slashed by this government.
The point is that Dublin is not benefitting to any great extent from having Ministers based in Dublin constituencies. (Reilly's behaviour is disgraceful and he is the worst minister in this cabinet, and he has real competition!)
The point is that public administration in Ireland is a sick joke and the system itself is designed to fail but you refuse to acknowledge that.
The point is that Laois-Offaly has no Minister and is feeling the draught with the departure of the former Taoiseach, who funneled pork into it for a quarter of a century.
The point is that compared to intelligently run countries, the capital of Ireland is a disgrace when it comes to public facilities, especially public transport.
That is the point!

As I said, a truly amazing ability to miss the point. Go back and read my post again, or better yet, ask someone who doesn't have a persecution complex to read it for you. You'll be stunned to discover that it has nothing to do with any of the things you're ranting about.
I am thoroughly weary of your own erroneous persecution complex: that an allegedly Dublin-centric Cabinet do not care about rural Ireland and favour urban Ireland over rural Ireland, which is the entire premise of this highly divisive thread.
They do not give a monkeys about anybody but themselves, the problem is systemic and things in Ireland, urban and rural, are going to get a lot worse because the system itself will ensure that.
You continue to defend the system by implication, insisting that the problem is that not enough rural TDs are Ministers. I insist that the system must be abolished and replaced with something that works.
But your bean caoineadh antics on this thread, suggesting that Dublin is enjoying a services bounty at the expense of rural Ireland has to be challenged and exposed for the mindless tosh it is. All Ireland is suffering and we know where the blame lies.

To be fair, dublin, compared to other capital cities, is a bit of a kip. But historically it was never a capital city so that would go a long way to explaining that. It is ingenuine though, to claim that it has no better public services than other parts of the country.
The fact is that decisions such as selling our fishing rights have stunted the whole western seaboard, and no replacement industry has been fomented by the state. Donegal doesnt even have a train service for god sake. But then we're only rural hill billies. Well they're are almost 200,000 rural hill billies, and just beside the 4th biggest city on the island with a further 120,000 people.
Another perfect and ridicullous example would be that sad incident where a woman had to give a garda a lift. That was in Newton Cunningham, a small town in Iniseoin. You could argue that the size is the reason, but what people dont factor in is that newton is just 8 km from Derry city. So rural zone, really??? There is one big problem, its called a border. Thus considering north donegal as rural is a missing the point a bit.
Oh, and i shant start about hospitals or roads, schools or anything like that. Its clear that we cant expect anything like dublin services, but at least minimal ones would fine.
Absolutely not. The thread is about the differences in how rural and urban areas are being treated by this government. I've posted several specific examples of rural areas being treated worse than urban areas and I'm arguing that that's as a result of the overwhelming dominance of urban ministers.
Saying that services have been cut from 'A' but retained at 'B' says nothing about the quality or adequacy of the service in 'B'. The same is true of pointing out that 'B' enjoys a far better level of service than 'A'.
The HSE proposes to replace night time ambulance cover in Skibbereen with a rapid response car.

Skibbereen is in the rural constituency of Cork South west which doesn't have a cabinet minister.
