Any one watching this. He'll play Federer on Centre Court if he wins.

Oh well good effort.
Sorry I missed it. Wouldn't it have been wonderful to see him play Federer?
Roger Federer is a really nice guy. But if you are facing him on the other side of the net, he may not appear that way. You don't achieve his level of success without an utterly ruthless streak driving you on.

Every time I hear about British hopes at Wimbledon resting on the shoulders of Andy Murray it reminds me of this Monty Python sketch

"Do not be misled by the promises of politicians. Remember that the whole history of Ireland is a record of betrayals by politicians and statesmen, and remembering this, spurn their lying promises and stand up for a United Ireland - an Ireland broad based upon the union of Labour and Nationality." - James Connolly.
Well Andy Murray is in tomorrow's final against Federer.
I watched the match against Tsonga yesterday and enjoyed it hugely. Not a serve and volley power game so technically perfect as to be a bit boring, but unpredictable (lots of unforced errors) and exciting.
I can't see Murray beating Federer tomorrow on that basis, but the British fans will go wild if he does. It's been a long wait wince 1938 for the Wimbledon hosts to see a Briton in the men's final. As an interviewee however he is unwatchable, averting his eyes, seeming to resent questions. Perhaps he just needs to concentrate so much on maintaining focus that the interview is a disruption.
Women's final today . i enjoyed seeing the Williams sisters in the doubles and Serena should win on that kind of form, but I haven't seen her opponent play this week.

As expected, Serena Williams beat Radwanska in three sets. 6-1,5-7, 6-2.
Some fabulous rallies.
I'm guessing four sets tomorrow - 3 to one for Federer.

Where's McEnroe when you need him?

I am really hoping Federer wins today to Match the record of Sampras at Wimbledon to take his Grand Slam total to 17. There is a certain increase in the media attention this is getting here in Switzerland ahead of the match but nothing wild. In the UK, however, it seems that the hype has gone into overdrive on Murray. Of course, after waiting so long for a British finalist, it is not really surprising but Murray will do well if he can block all this from his mind.

Federer has a great following at Wimbledon who feel the same way as you. There will be anguish one way or another.
