Anonymous attack Stratfor clients a second time.

Victims of a data breach at the security analysis firm Stratfor apparently are being targeted a second time after speaking out about the hacking.
Stratfor said on its Facebook page that some individuals who offered public support for the company after it revealed it was hacked "may be being targeted for doing so."
Some of the files appear to be alphabetical listings of Stratfor clients with related credit card information. The amount posted suggests that information about more than 100,000 individuals and thousands of companies was exposed. The posts also contain files of emails within Stratfor's information technology department, and what appears to be a list of passwords for Stratfor IT staff.

Stratfor a bit too leaky and being targetted by one or another state, possibly?

A hit against a politically soft target? If any other blog was being treated this way, would it be accepted ?

They should have trademarked it themselves before someone else did! But to be honest the company is setting itself up for a downfall of sorts by trademarking the symbol. Could anyone from anonymous challenge the issue?

The guy who hacked the whole of the internet -

well, not quite true -- but a hilarious expose of "internet security" and a beautiful picture of the hottest spots of the internet.

Those mesmerising photographs are surely not copyright, given the way they were obtained. One of them would make a stunning banner for PW

Maybe not copyright, but possibly, accessories to a crime ?

Beautiful though - I'm looking for a place for them somewhere here, even if they won't fit the banner.

Watching Hacking Attempts in Real Time

Where do most attempted hacks come from? You might be surprised.

This animated graphic by T-Mobile is surprisingly interesting. What you see below is a static screen shot; the site itself says it offers a depiction of ongoing cyber-attacks

    Graphic wouldn't accept.........file too big.

Even Silirep has the story. Not sure about the IT - they still seem to be firmly embedded in the back end of the 19th Century.

Possibly. Some people might not have even noticed any slowdown.
