Default Kildarestreet, com - Transcripts of Oireachtas Debates

I'm just making a sticky linking the excellent Kildare Street site which provides transcripts of Daíl debates within a day.

    http://www.kildarestreet.com/debates/

I'll also be posting a link each week that the Dail sits on the Oireachtas Schedule threads, so that there will be a live streaming link and a link to the transcripts, as well as discussion, on each of these threads.

In order that the discussion on these threads should be more "searchable", I'll be posting tags on the thread to identify the topics coming up, and also titles to some posts. Everyone else using the threads is welcome to do the same.

I'd just like to second that, I had been using the "official" Oireachtas site for ages but Kildare Street is a good deal better.

Oireachtas.ie did a survey earlier in the year so it looks like they're seeking to improve the site.
It's a bloody mess tbh. Could be waiting to weeks for updates and i don't know what decade the playback streaming is from. I've been using the Leveson site quite a bit and the contrast.

Transcripts and video up there within hours and wont take you ten minutes to locate

If you are that way inclined you should be able to watch proceedings on SKY in the near future... as it is 40,000 + people a week watch on UPC etc.

Wouldn't piss on upc if they were on fire, don't even have terrestrial channels here.
    Use Agenda.ie mostly.

Saw that 20,000 watch proceedings daily on TV according to upc. We really are a nation of masochists if that figure is true. I find it hard to believe personally.

Who runs agenda.ie? Hadn't heard of it, it seems quite good.

I try to read all the debates I'd watch them if I had the internet connection for them... I must be a glutton for punishment

Gavin Reilly, who writes for the Journal set it up last year. Most reliable stream I find

Kildare Street - so much more than just transcripts. Written answers too, and legislation.

    http://www.kildarestreet.com/

For example, you can get email alerts every time a particular TD speaks.

If true, the politicians will love it

Back to telling lies with impunity

Ah, I just spotted the John Handelaar thread. Thanks Dr FIVE. I'm not sure what it means though - is KildareStreet going to stay down because the Oireachtas feed formats have changed? Or is it all going to be sorted out?
