I think somebody is extracting the urine. Bit soon for April Fool

FORMER GREEN PARTY TD Paul Gogarty has said that that he is considering a move to Fianna Fail.
The former Dublin-Mid West TD is no longer a paid-up member of the Green Party and is considering the move following a conversation with a local Fianna Fáil supporter while taking part in RTE’s ‘Celebrity Bainisteoir’. The FF supporter told Gogarty that if he ran in the next General Election under Fianna Fáil that he would get elected

But at whose expense is the joke, Gogarty's or FF?

Compulsive self publicist. Anything to garner a few headlines.

The world of GAA management would be great training in the art of doubletalk and illegal payments. FF would simply be the logical progression.

I particularly liked this one: "Your response should be stapled to your job application to Fossets Circus."

It's actually not as far fetched as you might believe.

Also, the bit about FF is a just a tiny bit misleading, accidentally suggesting that locally (ie where I live) I was asked to run for FF. This was down in Oughterard to be honest, late at night in a disco, incidentally, and again you have to listen to the entire interview to get the context.
If he was running in Oughterard he'd have an advantage over the local incumbents in that he can walk and talk at the same time. His literacy is an added bonus.

Well, I did predict he would end up in 'celeb TV' years ago. The man is a bloody deranged idiot, but it seems among the RTE luvvies all publicity is good.

Gogarty and his ilk from the greens who sold out every single principle should just bugger off, crawl under a rock etc. Sickening

Maybe Paul and the rest of his mates, should consider going to Switzerland and using the needle.

Another desperate attempt by Paul Gogarty to drum up interest in his debut album.
Former Green Party TD Paul Gogarty’s new single has reached number five in an Irish download chart.

Performing as His Sweet Surprise, Mr Gogarty’s single Know You All My Life entered the 7digital download chart this week, behind Marina and the Diamonds, James Arthur, Adele and Kesha.

Why doesn't he just eff off and go play with his Kennedy/Shriver investment portfolio? Bloody toffs, thinking they have a lifelong entitlement to be in our faces morning noon and night...
"It is we the workers who built these palaces and cities here in Spain and in America and everywhere. We, the workers, can build others to take their place. And better ones! We are not in the least afraid of ruins. We are going to inherit the earth; there is not the slightest doubt about that. The bourgeoisie might blast and ruin its own world before it leaves the stage of history. We carry a new world here, in our hearts."
