Well ... we have Rovers tmro night at the Cross ... and we ain't confident, particularly when you'd expect a lot more from the players with experience at this level, Colin Healy now out injured and another midfielder Shane Duggan gets sent off last week against Drogs shoving yer man who should have got an oscar for his feigned injury

    Ah, there's always hope I suppose ....

    First season back up, A.W.
You'll finish above Drogheda and Bray.

    Maybe even Bohs

Ah, the main concern is the lack of cohesion as a team, headless chickens stuff, and maybe some actually ain't up to it/are past it

Then again, it's only game 3 and a long season ahead.

    So -v- Rovers;

    Win - would be unreal
Draw - would be very happy with that
Lose by a small margin - would be ok tbh
    Get hockeyed - not good

FC Magdeburg fans show their team (not doing all that well for a few games) how to score. Brilliant

Maybe Bohs fans could learn from it

And gave 'em their first point too

Even at this early stage, Bohs look to be turning out as the Whipping Boys. Long way to go tho

11 games down and CCFC are sitting mid table, i only get to catch a few games this season as my offshore rotations are mid-week flights, was delighted to catch the pats game on Friday...City could have stolen the 3 points with that penalty..but have to say Pats were the better team on the night. I fancy City to finish up mid-table...Pats to win the league, they are are better side than Rovers and have a better panel overall.

Was meant to go to the Pats game but didnt get a chance (have not got a chance to go since game against Monaghan!!) . CCFC are doing well but back down from the pub this evening, was in Mc Dowells the Pats pub. Some of them think Rovers will fire Kenny and bring in some one else and our best striker Forrester to go in the transfer window!

Quite happy with the way things are turning out with CCFC after that terrible start to the season - talk about a baptism of fire to the Premier

I do reckon Tommy Dunne has things figured out pretty well with this team now and he's a pretty astute Manager ... dropping Capt Dan Murray was a good move (wonder was that clean sheet against Pats a coincidence) and putting Colin Healy at right back has worked well.

I reckon we can give any team in this Division a good run for their money at this stage ... roll on Round 2

Vinny Sullivan is turning out to be quite the wonder forward unexpected to many and Tadgh "Van" Purcell is slotting some too (besides that missed penalty last Fri)

Is Vinny Sullivan still knocking about? He was tipped to do big things with Celtic

Sure is ... and amazing the folk at CCFC with his antics ... seems to have come into his own since Graham Cummins left for Preston North End ... in fairness to Vinny he will give 110% every game and will run his legs off ... his legion of fans continues to grow

Pats won 1-0 the other day against Icelandic opposition in European competition, we are now playing away Draw with Rovers today in Tallaght...Looking up

    Shame about Monaghan...

Pats have done their bit over the years with results which help the Euro coefficient

A frustrating evening at the Cross tonight. Tommy Dunne seemed to make a crazy decision subbing our centre half with just mins to go, the replacement with serious lack of game time then gifts Bohs a penalty, they score and it ends 1-1 in a game we should have won
