You can't accuse Keaveney of selling out to keep his seat. A Labour seat in Galway East is a rare thing, I'm sure he knows his stance on assessing farmers assets in 3rd level grants will lose him votes.
Fair point from the farmer - Withdrawal of services does no harm to people who don't have the services.

In a Republic people agree to pay taxes to a Govt that in turn agree to use that money to provide services.
Nobody in a Republic should provide a Govt with taxes, when those taxes are used to replace the losses of private banks.
