Patricia Gilheaney says that the charges against the Quinns are being used to prevent them from taking a case against Anglo for market manipulation.
That doesn't make a lot of sense. Surely Quinn is free to do that at any time.

Interesting optics this.
I've never seen two PR people representing the same client on the same panel at the same time before.
Obviously Quinn thinks that influencing public opinion will affect the outcome of the impending trial.

Quinn didn't 'try to get out' in September 2007. He only fell out with Anglo in June 2008 when the Maple Ten scheme was organised by Anglo because he still felt that 'his' shares were being sold off cheap to other unknown investors.
