    Default The Irish Riviera

I must have missed Geography Class that day in School. Apparently we have an "Irish Riviera".

Reminds me of a not so complimentary song the Humblebums (Gerry Rafferty & Billy Connolly) had about the Scottish resort of Dunoon

The Irish Riviera is also a slang expression that can refer to any of several seaside communities in the United States with high population densities of Irish-Americans

Oh aye ... well Torquay is apparently England's sunsoaked 'Nice' whereas on the Irish Riviera that'd be the Cork Corniche stretching from Kinsale, boy, down to Castletownbere and all stations with wobbly statues in between.

Eat your heart out Prince Rainier. Your boys have taken a hell of a beating tonight.
Think National. Act Local. Oh- and superstition is just the dark matter of human history.
