Hi, Just want to notify people that the ILP has merged with the Irish Democratic Party www.irishdemocrats.com

We're working on policies at the moment and recruitment.

They look very centre. Id say they'll be starting with maybe 1 candidate now, and more in 2014.

Wishy washy outfit. Predicated on electing " nice " people who have the countries interests at heart and a load of referenda. As well as that , the notion of placing vested interests at cabinet level is a form of lunacy.

Thanks Youngdan and thanks for radio interview, hope all going well.
Socially liberal and economically about creating the right business environment so businesses and jobs can develop.
I'd like the party to develop so one day it will be able to implement policies that benefit the people of the country and not sectional interests. Anyway, I can't debate too much at the moment but just wanted to give an update and show that I haven't given up, just moved on.

Have to agree with you Lapsed.

That they think Lenihan merited praise for "his enduring professionalism as a statesman." wouldn't inspire much faith in their judgement.

Contacted this party last December as I was putting together an Irish Democrats gave them a year to get off the ground and it seems to have gone flat.

I have put together another Irish Democrats which is actively seeking members website below we are looking for people to help us with our 2012 manifesto with a view to being able to put candidates forward for the next local elections.
