Dermot Ahern was acting all perturbed about being told to lie about the IMF bailout, as if this was the first lie he ever told.

It was Dermot Ahern who secretly went to the European Commission and asked for an OK to put shadow tolling on the M3 motorway, which will cost over 100 million extra to taxpayers. This was the only way they could get a contractor to sign, and invest. The NRA never even mentioned this at the public Toll Hearing. Glad to see this rat finally jumping ship.

that is also the guy who never even bothered his ass to have a chat with John Lonnergan about Mountjoy. NEVER BOTHERED HIS ASS. What sort of a pension can the traitor expect?

nothing would surprise me anymore. It is possible. And tbh, I would think he is far more intelligent than all of them in there put together. Wouldnt the Brits be stunned by that!!

Does he keep his personal driver and car? Hopefully he wont have to wait for non existant buses in the snow, that would not be good for his health poor thing.

Default 2 more bite the dust

So instead of seeking re-election, Tom Kitt and Seán Ardagh have decided to call it quits and have announced their intentions not to stand in the next GE. Rats and ship are two words that spring immediately to mind.

I have it on excellent authority that MJ Nolan - FF, Carlow - will be retiring before the election.
    Good riddance to him.
Like the majority of our elected elite, they cost us a fortune just to make up numbers in an overrated talking shop.

Noel Dempsey said this morning that he would be making an announcement very shortly. No sign of it tonight so far.

She paid 1.24 million of the 2.8 million Euro she was supposed to pay, after a 'settlement' was reached (a process, da Bert vehemently denied to have been involved in).
