It all seems way out wack to me. I can't ever remember such blossoming even on St Patrick's Day which is two weeks away.

Anyone else got an opinion on how early this behaviour usually takes place?
After the mildest February I can ever remember ( 12°c for the best part of a week was positively warm by our standards) it's now back to strong cold winds and biting rain.

This year the flowering on the trees started earlier than ever with a cherry tree in bloom on the 5th February and hawthorn or blackthorn in bloom all along the ditches by mid February.
