I'm watching the clouds move in on

Here in Dublin the morning has gone from Sunny to hazy,and now sun "looks like you're viewing it through ground glass" which is the classic indicator of an approaching low pressure weather system.
No rain here as yet, but that will obviously change.
Anyone know about the crossed winds rule? What's it like where you are?

Fine here - but people in Cork say its clouding over. I'm off to make the most of it before it changes.

North Cork....thick cloud, but mild....just going for a walk.

Can still make out the line of blue sky south off the Cork Coast but otherwise clouded with the clouds getting greyer as rain nears ....Originally Posted by C. Flower

Sunny in Westmeath this morning, clouded over now as twilight settles. Got a crazy-ass hail storm yesterday.

Woke up to sunshine in West Galway but in the last Hour a Full-Blown storm has rolled in. Wind and Rain lashing against the House. Its gotten very dark.
Nothing for it except to crank up the Heating and open a bottle of something. Take away tonight while the roads are still open.
The first robot president won by exactly one vote. Ah, yes! John Quincy Adding Machine. He struck a chord with the voters when he pledged not to go on a killing spree. But, like most politicians he promised more than he could deliver.

Feckin awful up here on the north coast, high winds and driving rain. Tis definitely a night to curl up with a book!

Wind howling around the house in the Midlands and rain lashing the windows. Definitely batten down the hatches tonight. Take away and a glass of white sounds like a brill idea.

Lashing rain and howling wind here in west Galway, started about 2-15 pm and has been going on non-stop since then. At least we're up high
