Justice Minister Dermot Ahern has responded to Leo and said there might be some satisfaction from stopping someone with no tax on their car but he did not believe that that was what the public wanted.

"Can I ask whether this is what the men of 1916 died for: a bailout from the German chancellor with a few shillings of sympathy from the British chancellor on the side?"
Michael Noonan, November 2010
Fascism perceives conservatism as partly valuable for its support of order in society but disagrees with its typical opposition to change and modernization.
Remember david Begg's use of a word .. conservatism last week?
Quote:Fascism sought to accommodate Italian conservatives by making major alterations to its political agenda – abandoning its previous populism, republicanism, and anticlericalism, adopting policies in support of free enterprise, and accepting the Roman Catholic Church and the monarchy as institutions in Italy.
That quote is very similar to here of what's happening.
Quote:Fascism involved corporatism, a political system in which the economy is collectively managed by employers, workers, and state officials by formal mechanisms at the national level
That again is very similar to the Unions here and the FF/GP govt along with the higher civil servants,DPP whose pay levy was exempted.
An interesting response from the Minister of Justice who will no doubt continue with the silence over the promised prosecutions from the Ryan Report.
No doubt he'll be warning against populism on some other issue- such as where are the Anglo prosecutions?
Ahern is one bullshyte merchant.
Think National. Act Local. Oh- and superstition is just the dark matter of human history.

It's gone very very deathly quiet.

no the bankers should not be treated like subversives, they are ordinary criminals and should not have any special treatment when in jail
I think terms like Trotskyite, Stalinist etc etc...should be qualified whenever they're used....I personally agree with much of Kropotkin's writings....many have called him an anarchist...without examining his beliefs. An anarchist today...is/was a benificent revolutionary yesterday....but the supreme capitalist politicians of today have fashioned all terms opposite to their greedy aims as negative....are the capitalists correct...given the last few years??

So would people condone the internment of these rogue bankers, their torture until they handed over money they stole and, if necessary, their executions. Perhaps a few "developers" and their crony politicians could be included? Could a financial sippenhaft rule be applied to their families as some of these people used their families to hide or protect the money?
