Britain expels Israeli diplomat over Dubai passport row - Paddys do nothing

Seeing as the Brits have a very big arms industry which makes a lot money from Israel, nice to see them taking a stand.

While in our failed republic, we have a minister that heads over to Gaza for a photo op but then does nothing.

Its time we got the Israeli consulate and closed it down.

Time to shut down diplomatic relations with the people who steal our passports and good name.

I'm glad that something was done, I regret it wasn't the Israeli ambassador expelled from the UK.
I don't expect Ireland to do anything about misuse of our passports.

It's a stretch from that premis to suggest that the British know what shenninagins went on in Dublin. I expect we'll find out in good time what the Irish services know.

ISRAEL expects Australia will expel one of its diplomat over the use of fake Australian passports in the assassination of a Hamas chief.

Israeli government sources told The Australian that of the countries whose passports were stolen, Australia was the most likely to follow Britain's lead.

Britain caused upset in Israel yesterday when it took the shock action of expelling an Israeli diplomat.

The Foreign Secretary said that there was "compelling evidence" that Israeli spy agency Mossad had forged British passports for use in the killing of Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in Dubai in January.

Although Israel initially thought Australia would unlikely follow thr UK's lead, that assessment changed distinctly last night.

It appears that Israeli officials have received indications in Canberra that Australia is preparing to expel a diplomat.
