On TWIP tonight David McCullagh twice asked Enda Kenny if keeping the Finance portfolio for Richard Bruton would be a deal breaker in coalition talks with Lab. Twice Kenny refused to say yes.

The question now is, will the next Finance minister be Gilmore or Burton?

He did, but on the 2 occasions when he was asked if that was a deal breaker he wriggled off the subject. The only way to read that is if Lab insist on Finance, and they'll have to or go back to their mudguard days, Bruton will have to take one for the team.
