Default The Irish Sun - Awe Inspiring Reporting

Was getting petrol this morning and saw this in the Newspaper Stand - didn't know whether to laugh or cry tbh.

And yes it's the Irish Sun which I wouldn't buy to save my life but the Front Page

Roy Keane's Hound "Triggs" has apparently died and we are told as per the Article that Roy is grieving

FFS - regardless of fact that it's a Rag, the country is going down the ****hole and this is the best they can come up with as a front page Article

Is there a book of condolence open in Cork?

Is Keane going to bury, cremate or eat the poor mut?

Go ndéanaí Déithe na Madadh bosca Trócaire de.

I suppose at least this story is vaguely Irish related....unlike previous front pages like Roo Love Cheat and Cheryl Gets Malaria.....think I'm clutching at straws though.

A newspaper for knuckle draggers. Terrifying to think that its readers have a vote.

Would you like to deny a group of people their democratic rights on grounds of their choice of newspaper?

Should the newspaper in question be burned?

No to both, but it does show one of the weakness of democracy. "The worst form of government apart from all the others..."

It's just old Rupert wanting to see the Irish united in grief over the departure of Keano's mutt rather than in rage over Anglo.

To tell the truth I'm more scared of Oirish Toimes and Indo readers meself. Proper sheeple, that lot.

That was hilarious what you did with the name of the Irish Times there. Very funny and original.

I do understand what you are saying, but have to comment that on looking at all the papers headlines for that day, my mind was immedialtely drawn to that story, as obviously was yours...

Very unawake and non compos mentis at the time but I think I heard John Murray talking about it on RTE 1 radio this morning as well. Looks like the dying gasps of the silly season.
