Very interesting, only thing I have a gripe about is the giant "Londonderry" I was confronted with when the map loaded.

If dreams were lightning, thunder was desire, this whole place would have burned down, a long time ago.

Does anyone know how to find out more about some of the things that show up? Pretty cool that there are quite a few near me that I never knew about, how could I learn about their history?

All I got on the map was things like "Mound/Ring Ditch" and a paragraph apologizing for not being able to give more info.

Other entries of course were much more informative.

Go to your Local Library and check the Archaeological Inventory (if there is one for the locality) - tho if that had details they would prob be on that map. Otherwise some Local Historical Society might have articles or publications on it.

For those contained on or accessible through private land, the permission of the landowner may be required and should be sought
