Stats says there are any number of ways to leave the EU, such as leaving the single market. You agree with that, and then say no, leaving the EU is not the same as leaving the single market.
I mean what I say, and say what I mean,....... I think,........said Alice..........
Quite the opposite. I gave an example of something that was deemed to have been implicitly included in the referendum by Tories, without being explicitly covered by an overly simplistic yes/no answer to another question entirely.

You've lost me. Makes no sense at all.
What was implicitly included.........in the question...........that wasn't explicitly covered by the answer to................an entirely different question?
    You said:
For example it's claimed that leaving the EU means leaving the single market, but that isn't the case.
You correctly identified it as a claim.......... rather than example. If it's an example, what is it an example of? But now that you are relying on it, you carry the burden of standing it up, and explaining why it is so.
I might add, there is plenty of evidence to the contrary.

    Let's see this evidence then.

The position is quite clear. The customs union and the single market overlap with, but are not the same as, the EU. There is really no reason to be lost.

That might be the case if there was an actual diversion.

Eh, no. I've answered any question you had, based on your misunderstanding of my original post.

Nothing was implicitly included, which is my point. It's that others have used the simplicity of the question to claim that certain things are implicitly covered, when they clearly aren't. See? No diversion at all...

See, that wasn't hard. You could have said that the first time I asked.......
