Please refer to the following true story at http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...man-eaten.html

Five Indonesian men were trapped up a tree by prowling Sumatran tigers. While tigers can climb trees, the terrified men had lodged themselves (like Jack in my joke) onto slender branches that would not have borne the weight of a tiger.

So tigers can climb trees, just like I said.

When I googled "can tigers climb trees this is the first thing that came up:

There have been occasions of men climbing trees to escape an attacking tiger, only to be killed when the tiger followed them up.

And you are mistaken when you accuse me of "baring your teeth". I was doing no such thing.
We really are at cross purposes. I am not an agent for anyone or anything as you seem to think. I am not trying to put you down in any way. I think you have a strange way of expressing yourself which can be hard to interpret sometimes, and some other times can be a bit daft, but the world would be a duller place if some of us were not a little daft

You still do not admit your mistake by putting forward a lame argument.

Taking an example, you can't claim to be able to cook if you can only boil water.

In an alarming encounter with a tiger (but not a leopard), you still have a chance to escape death by climbing up to the slender branches of a tall tree.

That's why the tiger could not get hold of Jack in my joke but tried to trick him into getting down from the tree.

You are right, and if ever I have an alarming encounter with a tiger I will be up that tree like a scalded monkey and I wont be inquiring if it is a tiger or a leopard
