The Public Banking Forum of Ireland
I listened last night to a very useful youtube of a talk by Prof. Werner from the PBF website. The Public Banking Forum is aiming for a public interest banking system and is doing some serious work in fostering discussion on this.
I'm opening this thread for discussion of the PBF and/or of any of the contributions made by the various economists who have been involved so far.
The PBF aims at a critique of the current banking system, but also to put forward practical alternatives.
