Default The Guillotine! Political Heads Rolling in GE2016

RTE has already started to get out the hankies and mop its eyes over the very sad demise of various political careers.

Some of us may be less grief struck, on grounds that a) they get pensions and b) they put us through hell.

This is a sombre, but sometimes celebratory, thread, for heads rolling in GE 2016.

I'll rejoice at every labour head that roles and if ff do better than FG... Endas resignation will be particularly sweet.

Joan, Reilly and Lucinda are looking shaky at the moment

Joan apparently is looking savable unfortunately.

Just heard meath West was reflective of country Apjp . Think it was like a seat for each. Toibin doing well.

A step in the right direction, in line with 2014, but it could have been much better had the SF/INDOS/LEFT put on a united front.

Irish finance minister Ml Noonan at risk of losing seat in Limerick, with Kieran O'Donnell taking FG seat. Could be shock of this election.

In many ways the dumping of Noonan and Howlin would be far more symbolic of the rejection of their economic policies than Burton or Kenny losing their seats.

Kenny and Burton will have to resign pretty soon you'd think.

This shows what being a puppet of the troika renders, or ought to, fingers crossed.

Would prefer to see Alan Kelly's derrière walking out the door...any chance? Or is Tipp about to return Lowry, Kelly and McGrath??? If so, FACEPALM.

Thankfully Mary Hanafin won't take seat in Dun Laoghaire.
