Default Independents in Local Elctions 2014 - News/Views

List of Non Party/Independent Candidates courtesey of Adrian Kavanagh

    http://adriankavanaghelections.org/2...cal-elections/

So far, at this point in time (24th April 2014) I can account for three hundred and eighty nine non-party/independent candidates (or rather candidacies). Males account for three hundred and twenty of these non-party/independent/community candidates and female candidates account for sixty nine (17.7%) of these, as is evident from the table above. Three of the candidates listed below, Sharon Keogan (Laytown-Bettystown and Ashbourne), Eamonn O’Boyle (Dundalk-Carlingford and Dundalk South) and Philip Lee (Beaumont-Donaghmede and North Inner City) are contesting two electoral areas.

In the MRBI polls Independents are expected to do very well, they have risen 1% to 23% .

Fluffy, surely they should be able to spell the word that defines what they are standing as.

Having said that, I would blame the printers as much if not more than the candidates.
