I would ask why we are doing this but no doubt BC would tell us:
'The Attorney General has advised us that it would be unconstitutional'
Seems to exempt them from doing anything.
The Irish legal system does seem to faint whenever there is a suggestion that anyone with pull has to obey the law alright.
In fact the Irish legal system to my mind has been deliberately hamstrung. Oh well, what can you expect when the wives of Irish politicians are appointed as judges? Let them snigger away as to how clever they've been- Dermot Ahern up pacing up and down so worried was he by the tidying up of the constitution around the so-called offence of 'blasphemy'.
Pity he wasn't so worried about the apparent inability of the Irish legal system to act when it comes to weiro middle eastern cults and total and blatant corruption by a number of TD's.
It'll keep happening as well until a bomb goes off under some smartarse politician's car. That'll be the day the cutehoor sniggering stops.
Nor would I condemn it.
