As long as no one gets redacted ....... everyone will be happy.

....any ch ending is pronounced as in Lough (or Loch if Scottish), not ack. And the first a is not for decoration: ria not ree.

Irish/Scottish pronunciation of Loch, that is (not lock ;-)

Do we do much pronounciation around here?

    Anyhow welcome.

This is a meritocracy. You need to earn it. You're not John Waters.

    More like a mediocracy.

Fortunately, the computer won't care about pronunciation. It cares about spelling, thus proving itself to be smarter than man.

Whether with a t or without a t, the computer is smart enough to differentiate it.

Yes, but when my insightful and witty comments become fare for people's conversations in Shrewsbury Mews or in Eglinton Road, it won't be immediately obvious to their interlocutors, which of us was responsible. That's an ambiguity I'm not sure I can live with :P

Don't worry. I will let you have all the credits you deserve in Shrewsbury Mews and Eglinton Road.

    Welcome to the forum

If you are worried about being mistaken, why don't one or both of you select an avatar?

Thanks a lot for your welcome.

I am not worried at all. I am a poor man with no property and savings. Maybe my friend riadach is worried that I may inherit his property one day due to mistaken identity.
