    Loads of positive spin from the usual sources on today's CSO figures. None of them are too keen to comment on the fact that GDP is 1.2% down year on year.
    I guess that's what Noonan is describing as 'stabilisation'.

    This day five years ago Ireland became the first country in the Eurozone to declare it was in recession. The first of four so far.

    Good news. We are going to have "more scrutiny of opposition proposals" from the people who forgot to report Ireland was back in recession last March.
