Irish Central is a weird editorial caper- half-American and half-Irish with the US Republican tongue out for the business interest, social conservatism and yet disgusted by the primitive cult capers of the church in Ireland.

On anything business related it can be depended upon to revert to the US Republican line. 'Wealth creators' as the automatic heroes etc etc...

    that is a disgraceful article.

No mention of the Tribunal or the happenings that gave Dinny his "big break"

The Irish Times and Transparency Ireland are being threatened with legal action by DOB according to Mark Tighe in the ST today. David Andrews, former FF TD and member of the advisory council of Transparency Ireland has come out batting for Denis. O'Brien has been treated unfairly and TI should issue a clarification, he says.
Feels that the advisory council should have been consulted first. "{Denis}Should be left alone and have some peace"
    Ok, so

Broadsheet pointed out today that neither the Times nor the Indo mention Fitzpatrick in their reports on the Brian O'Driscoll testimonial. Different approach from the Mail.

Would doubt if BOD knew in advance that Seanie would be present, if Dinny took a table say for 20, at the price he is hardly going to name his guests.
Good move by BOD to sidestep other top end hotels in London that are wrapped up in controversy, in part due to very large borrowings at Anglo.
BOD is no sooner back in London again yesterday to pick up a 3 week ban.
Maybe BOD can now afford a nanny, Landsdown Road no place for an infant hanging off her mummy's neck.
