Good to see Nicola Tallant of the Sunday World getting an award for making life very uncomfortable for Lowry and Fingleton.

Looks like a pretty pathetic 'best of' bunch I'm very sorry to say. Where is Vincent Browne? Like it or not this country has become pathetic. These awards are another depressing reminder of that.

This must be why that blueshirt git Sheahan pused a door on me and a friend in a pub round by Bus Aras yesterday, he seemed flurried. Probably upset at not getting an award. VB should get a gong if this thing is worth its salt. The Mail has picked up a few good stories recently where others have not bothered-notably highlighting the bigotry of a certain government minister. It must be slightly less in the pocket of the government than the Sunday mail anyways.

UCI have 'suspended' the case pending an independent inquiry (into what has already been proven.)

So the troops are being stood down
