Default Soaring rate of birth defects in Iraq

... is brought to light in new study which links it to munitions used in the War. Fallujah which suffered a severe onslaught from the USA features prominently as does Basra which was attacked by the Brits. Heart defects, brain dysfunctions and malformations are amongst the defects. There is also a soaring rate of miscariages.

The study "Metal Contamination and the Epidemic of Congenital Birth Defects in Iraqi Cities," was published by the Bulletin of Environmental Contamination and Toxicology. It can be read at with a warning that it contains shocking images at:

Meanwhile Tony Blair continues to swan around accumulating millions while George Bush is feted everywhere he appears in the "civilised west".

Similar horrors in the Lebanon, going back to bombardments there with uranium enriched armaments. Gaza was also treated as a munitions testing ground in the attack three years ago.

NATO forces have also suffered from after affects both from these munitions and from various experimental meds with which they were injected to protect them from supposed WMDs.

There was the Gulf War Syndrome which a lot of professionals have discussed and disagreed on over the years. A lot denials were made but the gulf war syndrome was linked to two things which were either depeleted unranium or else they were subject to nerve agents. A lot of insomnia, mental illness and tiredness occured over the years and the military denied it. Tests were inconclusive though. The birth defects are not surprising in light of these findings.

What was the reason for this war again, apart from US oil under Iraqi sand?
Oh yes, weapons of mass destruction... does this include weapons of long term destruction, or are they still ok?
