James Reilly says he misled many will say he lied

Having appeared on Pat Kenny radio today all robust and blustery playing a stormer for the Fine Gael cadre, it now emerges that Dr James Reilly really either lied or misled the Dail

This morning, Dr Reilly and Education Minister Ruairi Quinn said the site was decided upon by the HSE when former health minister Mary Harney was in office.

But he has now admitted this information was wrong and another site was selected at that point, which subsequently fell through.

The original site was dropped in November 2010.

Dr Reilly became Health Minister in March 2011.

He now says a lease was signed with the developer of the site owned by his supporter, Seamus Murphy, in September 2011.

Dr Reilly said he wanted to correct the record of the Dail.

"I have no business connections with Mr Murphy," he said.

He will obviously have to resign ...or will he

Note that Education Minister Ruairi Quinn of Labour backed up Reilly in the spin deception that Mary Harney picked the site. that was a false statement by the pair she did not pick the site.

Another point raised is that of leasing a site what does that mean ?

how long does the leasing of the site run ? Will Murphy benefit in the long run on a lease even if Nama have the site now? What lease ? why not buy a site ?
