Didn't see it, but saw a hell of a sunrise this morning at 6.30. The whole eastern sky was raspberry coloured.
400 people reported injured, mainly by breaking glass, due to a sonic boom caused by a massive meteor shower in the Urals.
There should be photos around.
A very big meteor hopefully passing us today, although RTE news this morning said it was "heading for earth."

Maybe the "very big meteor heading for Earth" arrived a little sooner than expected?

A bit of a damp squib so far.
I am still hoping a large meteor or asteroid smashes up our civilisation, forcing us to revert to a caveman existence amid the rubble of our cities.
