"ASBOS" are a product of Thatcherism, that closed down British industry and created a chav class of unemployed youths stuck in hellish housing estates built by the local authorities.
When youths from private schools carry out vandalism - which they frequently do - it is called "ragging" or similar and they are let off. No-one talks about "anti-social behaviour."
Hogan knows he can throw the term out at people as it is not definable and no one can prove they have never done anything "anti-social."

The Council maintain that their decision is protected by data laws, yet those same laws don,t seem to have applied to the sending of the letter.
It seems that,it is alright to mention a name in a letter, while pretending to hide behind, data protection laws.
12 pages!! The only realities in this thread is that Hogan got away with a disgusting cute hoor trick because of the Shorthall fiasco. Another reality is that Hogan will reap the benefit of his behaviour at the next election, just as a FF candidate (in North Cork?) did in 2002 when he sent out a letter about immigrants and then topped the poll.
Wake up and smell the sh1te.....
..Lifetime of Kilkenny hurling homecomings can safely say NEVER saw anyone booed: not cllrs, co board, hangers on..until Min Phil Hogan tonight
I also think that James Reilly is a dead duck. It is obvious to all that his decision on the Primary Care Centres had more to do with his being a property developer, rather than his being a GP.
And when they go, who is going to look out for Enda?
James Reilly is a sly, condescending, bully and everyone in his constituency knew this before he ever got returned to the Dáil. He typifies career Finne Gwael politicians.
Hogan resigned once before after a very short time as a Minister, and concentrated on becoming a power behind the thrown. If he resigned he wouldn't go away - but no chance whatsover of him resigning on this in my view.
The boos have softened the cough of Fine Gaelers looking for easy targets to deflect public anger from the coming budget. A good thing.
Phil's plea for votes..he is trying hard to pretend he's a normal bloke
All he's in it for is helping his Constituents, and creating more jobs. Laying the ground for his heir to take over the seat too.
