I know some of them, all you need is a few cans, a flat bottle and some grass, and your are made. If you brought enough grass off your lawn you would be put on the front bench.

I canvassed for the PDs back then not for him. He just happened to be running in the constituency I was living in at the time. Only ever had dealings with him in that election and that's it. He only happened to be someone I was canvassing for in an election campaign so no sense of pride or even shame as I had little part to play in his life or he in mine.

So you canvassed for the PDs in that constituency but that doesn't mean in any way that you supported the party candidate.

These things are way too complicated for us non-hack people to understand.

What are you talking about? Hack? I'm not in the party anymore and when I was it was 23 years ago and another thing...they don't exist anymore.

I saw Eamos post on the Wokers movement and looked into them a bit further and their policies are even closer ! Anyways I had the pleasure of meeting Kieran Allen the sociology professor from UCD and am going to get involved. Its going to be mainly writing some small pieces for the paper and perhaps the website and attending the meetings. (Im doing a social studies course come September too so Im worried it might be a bit too much but well see how it goes!). Was a very interesting meeting, they are a nice bunch , very open and seem honest enough so Im quite happy.

You have linked up with the SWP even though you consider yourself closer politically to the WP.

Right. I'd caution you not to share that observation with your new comrades or the divorce might take place before the honeymoon is concluded.
