Rachel Corrie's parents took a civil case the the Israeli district courts over the killing of their daughter. a young peace activist crushed by a bulldozer as she stood in front of a Palestinian home about to be demolished.
The judge said that "any right thinking person" would not have been there. From what one can see of Rachel Corrie, it was because she was an exceptionally right thinking person that she was there.

In the verdict, Judge Oded Gershon invoked the principle of the combatant activities exception, noting that IDF forces had been attacked in the same area Corrie was killed just hours earlier.
