    I'd see it that way. There are plenty in the older generation who remorgaged to give deposits and guarantees to their kids. Whole families banjaxed.

    That's not a class issue it's a stupidity issue. If the kids were unable to save a deposit it should have hinted that they might have difficulty paying a mortgage.
