Though You're right all the same. The entire eu facade is designed to strip us of our basic freedoms in exchange for cheap labour. The one advantage the Irish, Portuguese and Greeks should have now is at least we should be able to see through the illusion. People 'of the leftwing' throughout europe are so wedded to right wing eu integration they don't even realize it. It's indoctrination of a right wing agenda. Very hard to be a 'republican' in some parts of Germany or France without being seen as a nationalist. The term republican of course in Irish and French and Spanish history being of a considerably leftwing sense.

France and Germany have formed a "Fiscal Union Working Group". One wonders if they will invite anyone else to join..

After meetings between their Finance ministers, Germany and France announced the formation of a working group to advance cooperation on banking union, fiscal union and the strengthening of monetary union in Europe. France and Germany need to work together to counter slowing global and European growth, German finmin Schaeuble said.
