Default Andalusia: Viva Juan Manuel Sanchez Gordillo!

The Mayor of Marinaleda in Spain's hard-hit Andalus is heading for a possible confrontation with the quisling Rajoy government in Spain as the Mayor makes headlines for erm, refusing to condemn food robberies from supermarket chains in the impoverished region the results of which are distributed to the hungry.

'Juan Manuel Sanchez Gordillo, regional lawmaker and mayor of the town of Marinaleda - population 2,645 - in the southern region of Andalusia, said food stolen last week in the robberies went to families hit hardest by Spain's economic crisis.'

Mayor Gordillo is touring the Andalus urging other Mayors and local administrators to ignore instructions from Madrid and the quisling government there.

'"They say I'm dangerous. And the bankers who are let off for fraud? That's not dangerous? The banks which borrow from the ECB for 1 percent then resell that debt to Spaniards for 6 percent - they're not dangerous?" he said.'

Con, what is this usage "The Andalus"? No Spaniard or English-speaker I know uses it. Does it mean you think the Moors should have it back?

The same thing has happened in Greece.

There are very few Court reports in Ireland, so who is to know?

Hope this catches on- if Mayors are immune to prosecution they should be taking the lead. And allegedly Senor Gordillo may be doing just that.
