    Default No more Mr Nice Guy: the Law Library is mad as hell

    ..with solicitors that is
    BARRISTERS, who are owed tens of thousands of euro in legal fees by solicitors, may soon name and shame the culprits, it was learned today.

    At its annual general meeting, the Bar Council of Ireland adopted a proposal to maintain a debt collection and credit rating service for its members to assist in the recovery of professional fees.
    “The anger and frustration in the Bar Library is palpable,” the Bar Council source said.

    “Young barristers in particular are being abused by some non-paying solicitors. They need experience and literally cannot refuse any kind of work. We have decided to straighten out certain matters,” he said.

    Any solicitor not living up to the expectations of their fellow legal eagles would seem to be in for a wigging.

    Amazing they haven't found some way of passing the bill to the taxpayer considering that option never seems to be far from the minds of the wiggery in Ireland.

    Step One: The Government assumes responsibility for the bill on behalf of the taxpayer
    Step Two: The bill burgeons as every legal bugger in Ireland frantically fires in invoices for everything from turnip suppers to hookers and racehorse stabing fees disguised as a legal bill.
    Step Three: The doleful announcement in the Oireachtas in a few years that total recovery is 'proving difficult, technically' and that some of the money due back to the Exchequer may not be paid back at all .... and the three bears all died hairy.

    I'm astonished that the wiggery is actually talking about pursuing solicitors. It would be like watching Jerry chasing Tom. I do hope it all goes off in glorious technicolour. *Fetches crisps*
    Think National. Act Local. Oh- and superstition is just the dark matter of human history.

    Ah who to pity?

    Reminds me of the old joke;

    If you throw a tax inspector and an estate agent off a cliff, which one hits the ground first?

    Who gives a rat's!
