Is Joan Burton thinking that conscription might be the way to go to 'activate' people ?

Maybe the Irish government want to out source
The task of getting jobs for our unemployed
To the private sector , G4S. Run a programme
In the Uk doing that work for 20,000 pounds
    A placement.
Joan should not be speaking at their sponsored
Gig a clear conflict I would say

I see that there is already private security operating some Government buildings in Ireland.
Shocking that the public sector unions have gone along with this.

Croke Park is evidence that the PS unions are on their knees.

Interesting that the speaker from G4S originally pencilled in for the event was this chap:
Sean Williams, Managing Director, Welfare to Work, G4S
G4S Care & Justice Services today welcomes Sean Williams to the business, taking up the role of Managing Director of its Welfare to Work division.

Bringing with him a decade of experience in helping disadvantaged jobseekers into secure and sustainable employment, Sean’s appointment is a critical element in G4S’s strategy to become the largest provider of welfare-to-work services in the UK under the Coalition Government’s new Work Programme
G4S Care & Justice Services today welcomes Sean Williams to the business, taking up the role of Managing Director of its Welfare to Work division.
    Notes to editors:
The Work Programme is the centre-piece of the Coalition Government’s welfare reform plans. It replaces most current back-to-work schemes including Flexible New Deal. It aims to ‘provide a coherent package of support for people out of work, regardless of the barriers they face or the benefits they claim’. The Work Programme is currently being tendered and will go-live from the middle of next year.
    G4S Care & Justice Services
G4S Care & Justice Services (UK) is a pioneering provider of critical services and employs almost 8,000 people to deliver a wide range of services to central and local governments and their agencies, regulatory bodies, UK police forces and the private sector. Its range of services includes: adult and youth custody and rehabilitation; children’s services; court services; inter-prison transportation; electronic monitoring; immigration detention and escorting; and police support services.

G4S in trouble in Britain..3,500 army soldiers drafted in to boost security. And a Whistleblower (ex army and hired by G4S to train their new staff) has told Sky News the training is adequate and the staff chosen to work are not able for the job. He said he would only hire 10% of chosen staff and he says it is a 50/50 chance that a large weapon could make it through the security screen

If Joan gives G4S a gig in Ireland helping our unemployed will they cost 230million and will the
Make the same mess as in the UK.

I hear that she has endorsed this company at the conference she spoke at and they sponsored .
