I heard it was actually a Beach Boys flag he was trying to remove.

Talking of Kilrea, I gave blood on the 13th and was late getting in. The place was empty, only 1 person in front of me and I was called straight through. Never thought before how the Blood Service must be seriously under pressure over the 12th.

Mc Quillan knows relatively little about the incident. I had one of the young lads in with me reading that newspaper link and he tells me the young lad on the roof was wanting down but that the cops told him to stay for fear of what the orange men might try to do to him.

The larger roof ladder that was sent for to Derry City was actually to carry out a search of the roof as the orange men suggested there might have been an attempt to set fire to it.

In the end, after some suggestion that many ''brethren'' were on their way, a couple of geezers in sashes showed up and dispersed most of the crowd allowing the cops to affect the arrest and search the roof.

Do you think would an orange man accept a transfusion of ''fenian blood?''

No and with it being ''silly season'' he never misses an opportunity to climb out of his pram and cry victim to stir things up.

Did you notice the annual stabbing ritual continues? One dead in Fermanagh, another injured in Co. Down?

Not content with Pope, Catholic and Republican bashing it appears Loyalists have now included the Polish community in their annual displays of blind hatred. Well, it is afterall part of their culture is'nt it?

How "not" to win friends and influence people. As the 50/50 split approaches these clowns are determined to keep the divisions in NI society going. They're too stupid and racist to realise it'd be in their own best interests to try and get as many of the immigrants on the Unionist side as possible.

A foreign national is just another ''Fenian'' to them. Same with a coloured skin person, they're ''black fenians.'' and that's just their selfish ignorant mindset. Multi culture is seen as erosion of culture and this more recent display of racist hatred emanates from the growth of BNP/NF within Loyalist/Unionist communities.

The discrimination continues, I received an email today from one Nathaniel Hotblood who was offering me a range of sexual improvement tablets and balms. Despite legislation to put a stop to this sort of thing, Nate's email was entitled,

    'Extra Discount for Loyal Orders'.

    I jest you not.

Mark Carruthers on Radio Ulster this morning suggested that maybe there was some onus on the Poles to find out about the history of the twelfth and maybe that would help stop things like that happening. And he didn't explode with laughter right after he said it.

    Unbelievable.

Lovely folk the OO aren't they? If I'm not mistaken thats the famine song they are playing.
The Parades' Commission placed restrictions on yesterday's Black march along the same route, banning all bands from playing music and not allowing the Young Conway Volunteers to participate at all.

In a well planned and politically supported move, everyone involved gave the PC and locals a huge F... You! Every band played as loud and hard as they could as the passed the Catholic Church and the YCV also joined in.

The cops reminded them they were contravening the ruling by loudspeaker before turning their shields and batons on the protesting Nationalists.

    Nothing ever changes.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-19381062

The cops say they will look at bringing to book those involved. Won't hold breath on that score.

The ever-responsible MP for the area, Nigel Dodds, supported the bands saying they had been restricted too often.

Interesting to hear that the Royal Black Institution apologise for any offence caused during it's parade past St. Patrick's RC Church in Belfast recently.

The Orange Order followed suit by announcing it's withdrawal of a feeder parade past Ardoyne on the morning of a massive centenary parade in Belfast.

The Orange Order are also involved in ''Quiet talks'' over parading issues.http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-19523587

Does this herald a wising up this ''silly season?''

As yet, no comment from the UVF who share this centenary year.

Magnanimous you would say except for the tiny detail that the centenary parade wasn't supposed to go past Ardoyne until they suddenly added it to their route before, a few hours later, announcing they had decided to drop it in the interests of peace.

Guess who's flute band was to accompany the Orange Lodge.
