Stanley the problem is this ,n answer to your question ,Mazars reached findings against 7 Senior Management in FAS ,these findings related to a number of matters ,
I have to be careful how I put this.
The Mazars report is still surpressed and both the FAS Dg and PAC will not publish it notwithstanding the fact that Craig has given his approval to do so .

The FAS DG Paul O Toole has taken no action against any of these Senior Management ,some are in DSP ,SOME IN fas and others retired with huge lump sums .
From what I have seen these packages can be revisited based on what is in Mazars ,furthermore the remaining managers must face discipline for their actions ,however they are in very senior positions in DSP and FAS

the real issue here is the cover up by PAC THEY HAVE THE POWER TO PUBLISH MAZARS and they should get on with it .we cannot give them the bank investigation until they clear up the FAS mess.

O Toole has questions to answer as have the Chairman of FAS and the Chair of the Audit committee in FAS who both got a presentation of the Mazars report in April 2011.
The Mazars report has also upheld a complaint made by Craig against a FAS contractor who FAS still use and who has received millions from FAS in the past 20 years

CRAIG wrote to Quinn as Minister for Education requesting that he be given whisltleblower status under the Labour Services Act 2009 2 weeks later he was fired by O Toole

Craig was no angel ,he paid for Harneys blowdry and had most of the then Government Ministers in Florida ,TEXAS and other hot spots while at the same time making sure FAS got a billion a year to feed the quango from the very same Ministers

Shane Ross has gone to ground on this one

Think about the savings to the state pensions worth over 5million and lump sums worth
2million ,as well as rebates from contractors who have a case to answer !

FAS have refused another request for the release of MAZARS. ,again Craig gave his permission
to release it and the FAS /Solas DG Paul O Toole has refused to release it .

Are the PAC going to get their act together on this

What evidence do we have to corroborate the above statement that no sanctions were taken against these seven senior managers?.

Didn't the MOS publish something last feb stating that at least three of these managers have faced disciplinary investigations ?

That would be interesting. Is it on line ?

Vast amounts of public money went into FAS and still do.

There should be accountability. When it comes down to the conduct and performance of individuals, imo, that is a top management issue. The very high salaries and benefits at the top bring with them big responsibilities.

Really if people don't perform at lower levels, that it down to management, who should have addressed the problem.

The people referred to in the Mail on Sunday had nothing to do with the MAZARS report and it's findings.
These people got disciplined because of a failure to manage the finance and procurement depts in FAS when the board and DG travelled the world .
For the record all the disciplined people are now appointed to the very same senior finance and procurement jobs in SOLAS. The PAC are aware of this and McGuinness has done nothing about this .
This must also raise concerns about the Solas DG who made this decision.

No person who had findings reached against them in MAZARS had any action taken against them and this is a fact ,indeed some are still in Senior posts in FAS and others are at a very Senior level in DSP.

The PAC are under huge stress and have been asked by SF to publish MAZARS. ,I hear Willie o Dea is on the case as well ,the penny is starting to drop at last ,seven people break 14 laws and Acts and nothing happens to them except they get huge pensions and cars and lump sums ,while the rest are now running parts of Solas, DSP and FAS in Senior positions

I hear that the PAC have a plan to discuss the Mazars report next week they are concerned that they have to show that they are transparent and may want to publish it
    At last

Will it be redacted for 'commercial confidentiality'...? IE someone's bribe money will stop if the news comes out.
Think National. Act Local. Oh- and superstition is just the dark matter of human history.

That they feel they must show they are transparent rather then actually being transparent is a bit transparent isn't it.

    http://www.independent.ie/opinion/an...g-3256335.html

McG could not spot the HSE etc., would stonewall PAC even though it was set up by FF partially for that purpose, the outrage by himself and Fleming is laughable and contrived.

Certainly more reasons not to let PAC near the banking fiasco.

Has Fas/Mazars publication moved on or is it still stalled.
