"It is we the workers who built these palaces and cities here in Spain and in America and everywhere. We, the workers, can build others to take their place. And better ones! We are not in the least afraid of ruins. We are going to inherit the earth; there is not the slightest doubt about that. The bourgeoisie might blast and ruin its own world before it leaves the stage of history. We carry a new world here, in our hearts."

Galway have goaled again! Fantastic David Burke strike, 2-8 to a point now. The Cats are being hurled out of it, and Cody has introduced one sub (Fogarty) already. Is the witch going to die?

A Shefflin free miss means Kilkenny have missed half their chances so far...

Galway lead by 2-12 to 0-4 at half time. They're beating their men in every position, and Canning's (and Hayes as well) roving commission is working a treat. The goals were created by the isolated man (Canning, Burke) getting the ball and beating their men, and the two lads' contribution in the middle of the park to Galway's dominance is considerable. Cody has introduced two subs, and Kilkenny's forwards are not firing at all. John Coen is playing a blinder sweeping the full-back line. If Kilkenny don't have a kick in them in the first five or so minutes of the second half, then they're sunk, and big time. I bet the Cats haven't lost a match this comprehensively in I don't know how long...

Kilkenny back in it with a Hogan goal, but they've a lot to do. Burke replies with a point. 2-14 to 1-6 now...

Shefflin goal now and it's 2-16 to 2-6 now...

Galway have scored a historic win over Kilkenny in the Leinster final. Ten points the margin at the end, 2-21 to 2-11. Kilkenny were beaten all over the field, there was a bit of kick off them in the second half, but nowhere near enough of a one. Canning was awesome, and the full forward line of him, Hayes and Cooney ran the KK fullback line ragged. Hogan, Fogarty and Shefflin valiantly tried to turn the game, but Galway were winning too much all over the field for it to count. This match will be talked about for years, the sound of hurling formbooks being torn up is going to be deafening. Bob O'Keefe goes west for the first time ever!

Joe Canning got Man of the Match on Sunday Game tonight.
Even steven at HT in the Munster Final, Tipp's 1-8 to Waterford's 0-11. Good game of hurling too, especially given the weather conditions in Páirc Uí Chaoimh. John Mullane is scoring almost at will, but Tipp have got one goal and look likely to score more. Why Pa Bourke was taken off is something of a mystery, but Eoin Kelly is a hell of a sub to have. The Tipp half-back line and midfield are shading it over their respective markers, but only just. It's set up well for an exciting second half. Respect to Tony Browne - how does he keep doing it at the age of 39? Think of all the nights out he's passed up for love of the game and desire to compete...

Tipp win in the end by 7, 2-17 to 0-16. Much tighter match than the scoreline suggests - Waterford missed some proper goal chances between the 50th and 65th minutes, and Tipperary managed to keep the scores trickling along during a period of Waterford dominance in the middle of the second half. Waterford were rather wasteful in that period with five or more bad wides which would've put them within a point of Tipp at a critical stage of the match. Even so, the Munster champions did what they had to do, especially in defence, to see off a serious challenge.

Tipp too strong in the end, Waterford's missed chances, especially the goal chances cost them. Mullane and Walsh held scoreless in second half. Still, a good display from a young side. The experience will stand to them.
Next up Cork or Limerick for my beloved Deise!
Waterford's Kevin Moran got Man of the Match award on Sunday Game for his display in the Munster Final.
Waterford threw it away today, 3 points up,they should have closed it out.
Cork finished stronger, their subs made more impact than ours. Two chances one to Eoin McGrath and the other to Shane Casey, we really should have put them away.
unfortunate for waterford, i really like them and they just never made that hoped for breakthrough! always next year tho.
gonna be a fascinating year, i dont really know who might come out on top! maybe galway came good too early, that does happen!
