I do feel sorry for the Galway team though. They came so close to winning, but sport is so cruel. That field must now feel so lonely for Joe & Co. ...

The legend, indeed, continues. Cody is a great tactical manager. Galway simply cound not get started and we lucky to be in it at half time. After the sending off, KK turned the screw.

You only get one chance against KK and if you dont take it, you dont get another.

Sorry for Tribesmen, but they weren't any match for KK today,

Too many errors, forwards weren't anywhere up to the standards of the drawn game, unlucky with goal disallowed, Joe Canning hitting a post. Galway's forwards only scored their first point from play in injury time.
Hopefully Galway will be back, well done Kilkenny.

Wrong on the attendance too. 82,274 according to the officials...

Henry Shefflin only player to win 9 All - Ireland medals on the field of play, played every Championship match for The Cats since 1999,
Some achievement, never saw Christy Ring, but if he was as good as Shefflin, he must have been some player. Never seen anyone to match Shefflin in the modern game, unbelievable leader for Kilkenny.

RTÉ gave the MOTM to the kid Walter Walsh! I'd have thought Shefflin was a shoo in, but well done to the judges for recognising Walsh's own achievement. Some debut!

What a day for Walter Walsh, debut in an All Ireland, scoring 1-3, winning first All Ireland, and then to round it off MOTM
    Stuff of dreams!
