    He said proposed whistleblower legislation may give potential whistleblowers a false sense of security. AIB auditors would know all about that etc etc ..

    JUSTICE Minister Alan Shatter is under fire today after referring to Derry as Londonderry.

    His comments were made in the Dail when he was putting through legislation to extend anti-terrorist powers under the Offences Against the State Act.

    Shatter on the extension of the 1998 (post Omagh) Offences Against the State Act.

    The reference to Londonderry is surely no accident.
