    Early bio:
Born in Dublin and raised in a gate lodge in the Phoenix Park, where her father was a park ranger, Norah Casey's working life began at 16 when she left school to become a student nurse in Scotland. Her time in nursing taught her a lot about life's priorities and the realities of illness, social issues and death.

After three years as a general nurse and two more of further studies, Casey went to the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) to become its student officer. It was during her time at the RCN that she developed her skills in broadcast interviewing, effective presentation and the art of public speaking.

She found she could write and in 1985 she got a job as a news reporter for Scutari Projects. She studied for a National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) certificate and three years later she was appointed editor of Nursing Standard, a position she filled until 1994.

She then became managing director of publisher RCN. In 1998, she made a move to what was to prove the catalyst for the most significant chapter in her publishing career when she became editor of the Smurfit-owned Irish Post.

Thinks she should be next President ,there is a High Court case ongoing with an ex employee Mary Kershaw and Cara magazine ,Norah will not explain the 500,000 she got from FAS when she was in London and New York until she does she should not be taken as an objective voice on anything
